Threat Assessment Team
The Threat Assessment Team helps keep campus safe by responding to concerns about behavior, safety risks, or signs of distress and coordinating appropriate support and intervention.
Kish Cadet Corps
The Cadet Corps offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in campus safety while working alongside trained professionals.
Who Can Join
- Full-time Kish students
- Completed 9 credit hours in Criminal Justice or enrolled in EMT/Paramedic courses
- Must complete application, background check and training
What You’ll Do
- Respond to non-criminal calls and assist with medical aid
- Provide security at events and assist with traffic control
- Patrol campus and write reports
- Help visitors and support students and staff
- Assist with vehicle issues, escorts and campus access
- Support parking enforcement with the Sheriff’s Office
What to Expect
Cadet Corps members are student employees and can be identified on campus by their polo shirts. If you need assistance, you can approach any on-duty cadet.
