Whether you’re preparing to start classes, applying to a program, or meeting a requirement, Kishwaukee College offers several testing options to support your next step.
Placement Testing
Placement testing determines course placement before enrollment. Many students qualify for placement without testing based on GPA or prior scores.

- Photo ID required: Bring a physical, government-issued photo ID. Photos of IDs are not accepted.
- Appointments required: Most exams must be scheduled in advance.
- Personal items stored: Phones, bags, watches, hats, and electronics must be secured in provided lockers.
- Approved materials only: Books or notes are allowed only if approved by your instructor.
- Late arrivals: Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be turned away.
- Supplies provided: Scratch paper, pencils, noise-canceling headphones, tissues, and limited calculators are available.

Program & Certification Exams
Testing Services also administers exams for specific programs and certifications, including:
- Course make-up exams and approved accommodations
Each exam has unique registration and scheduling requirements.
Testing for Other Colleges
Kishwaukee College offers the opportunity to proctor exams for students enrolled at other colleges.
- Two weeks’ notice is required
- A $20 proctoring fee is due on the day of testing
- Coordination with your home institution is required

Certified Testing Center
