What you need to know about Kish’s move to Ellucian SaaS
Starting at 4 pm Friday, Nov. 15, Kishwaukee College will migrate to Ellucian Software as a Service (SaaS). The College anticipates systems to be back online by 9 am Thursday, Nov. 21.
Ellucian SaaS is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides tools to higher education institutions to improve efficiency, security and responsiveness.
The following systems will be unavailable during the migration:

An email will be sent to the Kish campus when systems are back up and running.
No. Migration to SaaS will not change how you access or view systems. No new apps or platforms will need to be downloaded. All links to previous systems will be correct.
Office 365 will not be affected during the SaaS migration.

The payment plan is part of the software conversion that is being implemented later in November. The system will need to be down by Monday, Nov. 4, so it can be converted to the new software platform and be ready to go by the anticipated Thursday, Nov. 21, system live date.
Fall payment plans will not be directly accessible to students during the conversion. However, you can contact the Business Office with questions at 815-825-9400 or busserv@kish.edu.

The timecard due date for employees is by 4 pm Thursday, Oct. 31.
The timecard approval due date for supervisors is by 12 pm Friday, Nov. 1.

Because timecards are due before the work period is over (Nov. 1-15), employees will have to list hours for Nov. 8-15 in advance. It is the supervisor’s responsibility to confirm these hours are worked as anticipated.
Payroll adjustments for the Nov. 15 payroll cycle are due by 4 pm Thursday, Oct. 31.
Payroll adjustments for the Nov. 30 payroll cycle are due by 4 pm Thursday, Nov. 7.
POs cannot be entered or processed during the SaaS conversion, nor will there be any check runs.
There will be an AP check run on Monday, Nov. 25.
The Thursday, Oct. 31, credit card statement will be due one day early, by the close of business on Thursday, Nov. 14.
Kishwaukee College will host three upcoming information sessions for high school students interested in the Early College Program or Engineering, Math & Science Academy (EMSA). The information sessions are open to current high school sophomores and juniors along with their parents/guardians.
