Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Office staff is committed to helping you identify your options for
paying for college as well as guiding you through the process.
First we’d like to start with giving you a guide to the financial aid process. This
helpful checklist will lay out each step you need to take to apply for financial aid. It includes deadlines

Next, we have important information you need to be aware of. We’ll keep you updated
on any new developments or requirements for each year’s financial aid.
2020-2021 FAFSA is available for Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021. The DRT
is available to import your 2018 taxes for 2020-21. Using the DRT and not changing
any of the information will result in faster review and less documentation to submit
to our office.
2021-2022 FAFSA is available beginning October 1st, 2020 for Fall 2021, Spring 2022,
and Summer 2022. The DRT is available to import your 2019 taxes for 2021-22. Using
the DRT and not changing any of the information will result in faster review and less
documentation to submit to our office.
Veterans, Military Service Members, and dependents/spouses educational assistance
and enrollment certification to use military benefits at Kishwaukee College is provided
by the Financial Aid Office. All credited programs at Kishwaukee College are approved
for Veterans’ education benefits.
The Kishwaukee College Continuing Education department is offering four Short-Term Training programs during the Summer 2021 semester. Two are offered online. Two are offered in a hybrid format.
February marks Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month and Kishwaukee College, along with institutions across the state of Illinois, are celebrating the initiative.
