Kishwaukee College has partnered with ReUp Education to support students who are reenrolling
in college to complete a degree or certificate program.
Since 2015, ReUp has helped higher education institutions engage, enroll and support
adult learners. Using patented technology and one-on-one personalized coaching, ReUp’s
approach will help Kishwaukee College reach learners who have previously paused their
education.
“Kishwaukee College is proud to help returning students meet their goals with the
support of ReUp. Whether you are increasing your skills or starting a new career,
Kish has the resources and support services to meet any need,” said Sandy Castillo
Guzman, Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator.
Kishwaukee College supports learners at any stage of life, with 27.4% of students
being 25 years or older. Nationally, more than 40 million adults have some college
education but no credentials, according to a study by the National Student Clearinghouse
Research Center. Additionally, employees who have earned an associate degree earn
approximately 9.5% more annually than employees who completed some college with no
credentials, according to data from the National Center for Education Statistics.
As part of the partnership, ReUp will assist students with reenrolling at Kish, offering
insights and recommendations based on industry trends and direct learner feedback.
Returning students will receive support from ReUp throughout the reenrollment process
and during their time as active students until degree completion.
Kish students will continue to have access to the College’s Academic Advisors to help
plan next steps, navigate questions and receive guidance. Additionally, Kish offers
flexible class schedules, support services for academic and non-academic barriers,
and affordable education with numerous forms of financial support.
