Kishwaukee College is a member of the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR).
The NCMPR Medallion & Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges. It's the only national and regional competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.

Kishwaukee College’s Alpha Rho Eta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) welcomed 32 new members during the 2023-2024 academic year. The chapter inducted nine of the new members in a candle-lighting ceremony held at the College on Wednesday, April 17.
