Kishwaukee College will host an open house for Career and Technical Education (CTE)
programs from 5-7 pm Wednesday, May 1, in the Caukin Building on the Kish campus.
The CTE Open House offers prospective students the opportunity to view Kish’s state-of-the-art
labs and equipment and network with instructors.
Kish CTE programs provide students with the skills and training needed to fill in-demand
roles in the local workforce. At Kish, CTE programs are adapted to local labor needs
as the College models its courses based on community input. Kish’s CTE programs allow
students to gain real-world skills, explore careers, and establish options for further
college and career success.
Featured programs during the CTE Open House include Automotive Technology, Business
and Marketing, Criminal Justice, Diesel Power Technology, Horticulture, Office Systems,
Truck Driver Training, Welding and more.
The event is free and open to the public. Guests can park by the Caukin Building,
