Kishwaukee College to offer a variety of free classes for English Language Learners and those seeking their High School Equivalency/GED (in English or Spanish) this fall.

ESL classes are available for beginning, intermediate and advanced English learners. Classes emphasize speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English.  High School Equivalency classes prepare students to take the GED. Subject areas covered in class include reading, writing, social studies, science, math, and the U.S. Constitution. These classes place emphasis on practical application of the subjects and total development of the learner. As part of the GED preparation classes, a special Bridge to Healthcare Careers course will run this fall. This special GED course will help learners gain tools and experience to prepare for employment in the healthcare field.  Enrollment for all these classes is happening now through September 10, 2020.
