The Career Services at Kishwaukee College offers a wide variety of services to assist you with your job search--from beginning to end. Our professional staff provides resources and consultation on the ins and outs of initiating a job search, writing a resume and cover letter, and interviewing techniques. The Career Services offers annual job fairs/hiring events, access to employment listings, information on employers, WinWay® resume software, workshops, mock interviews with video option and a computer lab to assist you in your job search.

Resume and Cover Letter Assistance

WinWay® Resume can help you write a professional-looking resume. The software is easy to use and a staff member will help you navigate it like a pro. Career Services staff will also critique your resume and cover letter. You can visit the Career Services on a walk-in basis or schedule a one-on-one appointment at 815-825-9472.

Mock Interviews

Get rid of interview jitters by participating in a mock interview with Career Services staff.  Develop confidence by practicing your answers and improving your delivery. Make an appointment at the Career Services prior to your interview.

Student Employment on Campus (Federal Work-Study)
