How Student Employment Works

1. Search for Open Positions
   1. Visit the Employment Opportunities page and select Student Worker Job Postings.
2. Apply Online: Submit your application and upload required documents:
   1. Resume
   2. Class schedule
   3. Financial aid award letter (if applicable)
3. Interview Process: Departments will review applications and contact selected candidates for interviews.
4. Complete Hiring Requirements: If offered a position, you’ll complete onboarding tasks before starting.

Requirements and Important Information

• Background check required for all positions
• Maximum of 20 hours per week
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours (fall and spring)
• Paid twice monthly
• Students applying under Federal Work-Study (FWS)
  • FWS does not guarantee a position
  • Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
