The Kishwaukee College Impact Awards honor employees who exemplify the college’s mission and values through outstanding performance, service, and dedication. This refreshed program builds on the 35-year legacy of the Awards of Excellence, with a renewed focus on student impact and alignment with institutional goals.

Nomination and Selection Process
Community members, students, and employees can submit entries highlighting the dedicated efforts of faculty and staff at the College.
- Nominations are open from January through February, with award recipients announced in the spring.
- Five recipients will be selected across the following categories: Faculty/Librarians, Support Staff, Professional Staff/Advisors, Adjunct Faculty, and Part-Time Staff (benefited and non-benefited).
- Recipients are selected by a cross-functional awards committee, which evaluates nominations using a standardized scoring rubric.
- Impact Award recipients will receive an individual plaque, be recognized on the Impact Award past winners display, and receive a cash award.
- Employees are not eligible to receive the award in consecutive years. Members of the Senior Leadership Team are not eligible.
