The Pre-Nursing track is designed for students interested in pursuing nursing, especially
those interested in starting at Kishwaukee College before transferring to complete
a four-year nursing degree. Successful completion of these courses and other admission
requirements would grant students provisional admittance into the Kishwaukee College
Nursing program.
Students in the Pre-Nursing track will take General Bio and Oral Communication in
the first summer semester, Basic Chemistry Anatomy and Physiology I in the fall semester,
Anatomy and Physiology II and Microbiology in the spring semester, and Composition
I and Introduction to Psychology in the second summer semester.
Students who complete the Pre-Nursing track may earn up to 29 semester hours of transferable
credit.
