an academic field holds to the core values of artistry, discipline, collaboration,
discovery, diversity, and community. Theatre majors develop skills such as close reading,
disciplined and accurate analysis, and spoken and written presentation of coherent

The Kishwaukee College Foundation has announced the creation of a new scholarship fund honoring the memory of 1998 nursing graduate, Cheryl Safford-Sawallisch. The scholarship provides support to Kishwaukee College nursing students, with preference given to single parents, those on a single income or those with low income.
Kishwaukee College is currently accepting nominations for the 2026 Impact Awards. The annual program recognizes Kish employees who exemplify the College’s mission and values through outstanding performance, service and dedication.
