A start in Pre-Medicine gives students a wide range of exciting possibilities in the health care field. Kishwaukee is a stepping stone for those looking to become a doctor, physician assistant or optometrist. No matter a physician’s specialty, a medical degree requires a strong background in biology, chemistry, physics, math and English.
In our Pre-Medicine pathway, you may:
Transfer to a four-year institution to complete undergraduate studies necessary to enter the next phase of your education at medical school.
Students interested in pursuing medicine as a career are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor for course and career planning.
