Automotive Technology
Today’s vehicles are more sophisticated than ever before. You’ll learn how to use computerized shop equipment, electronic components, and traditional tools to keep drivers and passengers safe on the road. Our program is an ASE Accredited Training Program.
In the automotive technology program, you may:
- Get in the industry quickly with a certificate or applied science degree

- In-district high school students can get started while still in high school. This program has a study guide to outline a pathway from certain high schools into our automotive program.
- You’ll learn in a fully equipped shop with multiple vehicles to work on..
- Join the workforce quickly with one of our auto certificates or degree.
- Start working in a professional garage in as little as eight months with a basic certificate.
- Then continue your training as an automotive technician with an advanced certificate or degree in automotive technology.
- We have many local industry partners and opportunities for job placement assistance.
- Local professionals visit the class for live demonstrations and lectures throughout the year.
- Students interested in pursuing a certificate or degree in automotive are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor.
- The automotive program requires tools to work on lab projects.
