The Office of the President provides leadership for Kishwaukee College and works closely with the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and community partners to advance the College’s mission, strategic priorities and student success initiatives.

Kishwaukee College establishes institutional goals to guide strategic planning, strengthen student success and ensure the College continues to meet the evolving needs of its students and community. These priorities help focus resources, support innovation and advance the mission of the College.
- Provide programs and services to foster student achievement.
- Recognize the importance of building and maintaining a positive employee experience.

Annual College Goals
One of the college’s goals is to support student success by providing programs and services that foster student achievement.
- Implement use of AI within the Navigate student success management system.
- Investigate the implementation of Workforce Pell.
- Review and update student learning outcomes in 50% of all Kishwaukee College courses to include digital literacy and employability skills.
- Certify 80% of adjunct faculty and 50% of full-time faculty teaching online through Quality Matters 101 or an equivalent credential.
One of the college’s goals is to recognize the importance of building and maintaining a positive employee experience.
- Revise and standardize all KCSS job descriptions and complete wage study.
- Successfully negotiate KCSS contract.
The college is committed to collaborating with stakeholders to effectively meet the needs of students and the community.
- Host a College wide meeting of advisory committee members and business partners to gather information and feedback on the College’s engagement with local industry.
- Develop and implement a communication plan to connect students to employment opportunities.
- Explore opportunities to expand and develop new healthcare programs to meet evolving industry needs.
The college aims to position itself for the future by strategically planning and responding to opportunities through effective resource management.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies, including an AI credential, to ensure the College remains future focused.
- Execute the capital projects scheduled for FY27.

Presidential Message
Exciting things are happening on campus and in our classrooms. We are happy to report for the fourth year in a row, enrollments have increased and are now higher than our pre-COVID-19 level from 2019. Since the pandemic, we have more options for students to learn how and when it works best in their schedule — face-to-face, online or a little of both. Our student clubs, organizations and athletics are going strong, with many opportunities for student involvement outside the classroom.
One of the most exciting things for our campus community this year is the roll-out of the “All-In” tuition model, effective Summer 2025. Students now pay one price for their tuition, fees, and even their textbooks. The amount you pay is what you see on your tuition statement. Getting your textbooks is as easy as stopping in and picking them up at the Kish Store. “All-In” is saving our students and their families millions of dollars per year.
At Kish, we listen to our students and communities, and are constantly evolving to provide new and innovative ways of delivering a first-class education close to home. I encourage you to check out the programs, services and activities we offer. Course options allow students to take classes that fit their work and family schedules. Program options range from short-term to two-year associate degrees. Advising, tutoring and career services are just a few examples of the many support services offered at Kish to help students be successful in the classroom and after college.
