Kishwaukee College Radiologic Technology students were honored during a pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 15, at the College. Kish recognized 12 students for completing the Radiologic Technology program and presented each graduate with a special pin before family and friends during the ceremony.

The Radiologic Technology graduates of Spring 2025 are Faith Allen, Brandon Foley, Nicole Foerster, Jessica Gomez, Tyler Huntsha, Nathan Jackson, Bryanne Meszaros, Samuel Murdock, Claire Potter, Lizbeth Ruiz, Payton Runyan and Alex Torres.

Class Representative Brandon Foley delivered the student address, thanking the Kish faculty and staff for helping the class meet its goals.

“Everyone was very patient with us as we learned and were more than willing to give us any tips, tricks or knowledge they have amassed over their careers. We can be very hard on ourselves as students, and your encouragement means the world to us,” Foley said.

The ceremony included remarks from Barbara Leach, Vice President of Instruction; Amy Anthenat, Assistant Professor of Radiologic Technology; Lori Damask, Radiologic Technology Clinical Preceptor; and Megan Kasigyi, Radiologic Technology Program Director. Kasigyi reminded the graduates to maintain a lifelong learning mindset as they embark on their careers.

“You will continue to learn from every patient. Each chest X-ray is unique. Each trauma will challenge you and teach you something new. Your new coworkers will be filled with knowledge, experience, tips and insight. Remember that every person in the hospital — from doctors to X-ray techs to the janitors — is on the same team with one mission — to deliver the best care possible for each and every patient,” Kasigyi said.

During the ceremony, each graduate was pinned by a friend or family member who supported the student or acted as a mentor while completing the program.
