The ceremony included an address from Barbara Leach, Vice President of Instruction, and Angela Delmont, Director of Nursing. Delmont shared the significance of pinning ceremonies as the graduates take the next step in their college or career journeys.

“It is an honor to stand before you today for this special occasion — a moment that signifies the culmination of hard work, dedication and an unyielding commitment,” Delmont said. “Pinning is a ceremony that holds a special place in the hearts of nurses worldwide. It is a rite of passage symbolizing the transition from nursing student to a practicing nurse.”

During the ceremony, a friend or family member who supported the student or acted as a mentor while completing the program pinned each graduate.
