The Kishwaukee College Continuing Education department is offering an online sparkling wine appreciation class from 6-7 pm on Monday, Dec. 20. The class will provide an overview of sparkling wines, their grapes and regions, and will be taught by certified sommeliers from Geneva Wine Cellars.
From the earliest examples of medieval sparklers to Prosecco, Cava, Champagne and more, this session will give you a new appreciation for sparkling wine. Learn about sparkling wine's quality levels as well as its methods of production, classic regions and how to best pair it with food.
Presenters Tim Campbell and Liz Kowal, sommeliers from Geneva Wine Cellars, are certified through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
