- Strategically take classes beyond the certificate to earn an associate degree in preparation for transfer
Program Details
The lecture portion of the class will be conducted online via D2L. Class material will be released weekly. Discussion threads will be conducted regularly. Exams and quizzes will be conducted online. Students will be required to meet online and in-person for hands-on training at Bethany Animal Hospital. Students will also meet in-person for hands-on training at TAILS Humane Society on occasion.
A 100-hour unpaid externship in a local animal hospital will be completed after the classroom portion has finished.
Students often benefit from our smaller class sizes to receive the support needed to master the critical subjects which will become a basis for much of the coursework down the line.
Students interested in pursuing veterinary medicine as a career are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor for course and career planning.
