Connect, Relate, Explore & Explain

Examine how the Earth has changed over the millennia and the impact humans have had on those changes and as agents of change.

Geography

Geography

Geography explores the Earth – the lands, physical features and interactions of people with the Earth. The subject is not merely learning where mountain ranges, rivers and lakes are located. It is much more than that. Geography examines how the Earth has changed over the millennia and the role of humans in response to those changes and as agents of change. Physical geography is dedicated to tradition earth science, from atmosphere to flora and fauna patterns. Human geography studies the interaction of the Earth and human society. With an increase in our understanding of the interconnectedness of Earth, humans, and natural environment and the changes through history, the study of Geography has assumed a greater importance in society.
