• We’re your first step in preparing for transfer and a career in communication. 
• Many of today’s occupations require an individual who can speak, write, and listen well, solve problems using critical thinking skills, learn new information quickly and work cooperatively with others in team settings. 
• A communication major will prepare students for a variety of careers, including jobs in advertising, education, government, broadcasting, public relations, radio, newspapers and various other fields.
• Some potential career paths include an activities director, career advisor, editor, information analyst, human resource specialist, special events coordinator, quality inspector and speechwriter.

Transfer to a 4-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in communications, organizational studies or other related fields.
