Kish College Foundation receives 3M grant for Nursing Textbook Initiative
The Kishwaukee College Foundation received a $5,000 grant from the 3M Site Hometown Donation program in support of the Foundation’s Nursing Textbook Initiative.

There are many specialties within the field of business including accounting, finance, human resources, marketing and management.
In our business program, you may:
- Pursue an associate in science or associate in arts degree and complete your general education requirements prior to transfer
- Individualize your coursework to prepare for your business transfer program
- Sharpen your math, organizational, project development, leadership, prioritization and strategizing skills
- Prepare yourself with the foundations of business before transfer

- We’re your first step in preparing for a career as an actuary, business analyst, sales manager, financial analyst, marketing manager, logistician, market research analyst or human resources specialist.
- These are only a few of the many career options a 4-year business degree can get you.
- An emphasis in business is a great foundation for budding entrepreneurs. Those who don't want to earn a credential can still benefit from taking a course or two to skill up.
- Early planning for a business career can make a difference.
- Our business club is an opportunity to sharpen your business skills and network with other like-minded students.
Transfer to a 4-year institution to complete a bachelor’s degree in business or related
program.
- After being accepted to Kish, there is no formal program admissions process for business.
- Students interested in pursuing an A.S. or A.A. degree with an emphasis in business are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor.

Amboy Class of 2014 supports Kish Foundation Scholarship
Members of the Amboy High School Class of 2014 supported the Kishwaukee College Foundation's Mathew J. Rood Diesel Power Technology Scholarship after collecting donations at their class reunion. The class recently donated the proceeds to Courtney Walz of the Kishwaukee College Foundation at Amboy Depot Days.
