Kishwaukee College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society inducts new members

Kishwaukee College’s Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Rho Eta chapter held its Spring 2023 induction ceremony on April 19. The Alpha Rho Eta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) welcomed 27 new members during the 2022-2023 school year at Kishwaukee College. The chapter officially inducted eight of the new members in a candle-lighting ceremony held at the College on April 19.

PTK is the largest honor society in higher education, with more than 3.5 million members worldwide. The society recognizes the academic achievement of community college students and provides opportunities to grow as scholars and leaders. To be eligible, students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours towards an associate degree and earn a 3.5 GPA or higher. Students must maintain a high academic standing throughout their enrollment at Kish. Membership is by invitation only.
