The 2020-2021 athletic year was a challenging one for student-athletes as teams worked around COVID-19 restrictions. However, almost all teams at Kishwaukee College were able to participate in competition despite the limitations.
“That was the biggest win for us. We were able to compete and compete safely,” said Kishwaukee College Athletic Director Scott Kawall.
Kawall commended the adaptability of the coaches and student-athletes at Kish and the success achieved in competition. The Kougars saw national qualifiers in cross country and golf, along with plenty of team success across all programs. It was also the inaugural seasons for the bowling, golf and Esports teams.
With the start of a new athletic season fast approaching, Kishwaukee College is eager to welcome its next class of athletes. To learn more about athletics at Kish, visit www.kishkougars.com.
