Adult Education

Everyone's journey is different. Adult education offers classes, programs and services to assist with improving basic skills, preparing for a high school equivalency credential and developing fluency in English.

Adult Education

Our adult education classes help people develop English skills or prepare to take the official tests to earn their Illinois High School Diploma, such as the GED®. These are free, noncredit classes for people 16 years of age and older.

NOTE: Starting Thursday, Aug. 1, Adult Education & Transition Services is moving to the A1200 wing. You can find us from Parking Lot A, Door 16, in Office A1227.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Strengthen and develop your English language skills for employment, college and personal development.
