Kishwaukee College will host Discover Kish, an informational event for new students and their families. Discover Kish is from 11 am-3 pm Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at the College.

Kishwaukee College houses more than 500 works of art on the College campus. The works promote creativity and enhance the College’s aesthetic beauty. But how do they appeal to you? Tell us about your favorite works of art at Kish. How do they inspire you? Share your input for the “My Favorite Kish Artwork” project. Kish will choose five entries at random to win a $10 gift card to the Kish Store.

Kishwaukee College hosted the 2023 Juried High School Student Art and Creative Writing Exhibition Feb. 15, 2023, through March 1, 2023. The exhibition was open to district high school students, allowing regional artists and writers an opportunity to build their exhibition resumé by displaying their original work in a professional setting.

April is national Poetry Month. Kish held the fifth annual Kish Poetry Open Mic event, virtually.
Students enrolled in Kish’s private music classes performed selections from their semester of study in voice, piano and guitar. Sit back and enjoy the sounds of classical works and an original piece or two.
The Kish Performing Arts Club members had to cancel their spring play because of the pandemic. Instead, they put together two virtual group performances on Zoom, a reading from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and a reading from The Humans by Matt Haig.
This video combines individual student performances, including a clarinet solo, two original poems, a song from the musical Wicked, and an uplifting monologue.
