Personal Counseling

Personal Counseling

The Counseling & Student Development Center is here to help you succeed in fulfilling your academic goals. When personal, emotional or family problems interfere with the learning process, counselors are available to help students learn more effective ways manage life issues.

The Counseling & Student Development Center provides a caring, supportive, and professional environment in which to explore personal challenges and facilitate change.

Counseling often deals with very personal and sensitive issues. Successful outcome depends on having a safe place to express your feelings, attitudes and thoughts with a counselor who respects you and your privacy. Counseling sessions are confidential, and any limits to confidentiality are carefully explained. Information may only be released with your written permission or as may be required by law.
