Read MorePaying for college is not easy right now. We understand and we are here to help. This semester, Kishwaukee College is offering all full-time students a $500 scholarship.
The Spring 2021 Relief Scholarship will award $500 to all students taking 12 or more credit hours during the Spring 2021 semester. Students must be register by Monday, January 18. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has put financial hardships on many, and Kish is offering this financial assistance to help pay for tuition and fees.
There are no applications required. If you are a registered full-time student by January 18, you will receive this scholarship. Join us for another semester of affordable education in a safe environment.
To receive the $500 scholarship, students need to be registered for 12 or more credit hours by Monday, January 18, 2021.
Funds will be deposited in students’ accounts the first week of February. Any refunds owed to students will be processed by check or direct deposit. To receive refund faster, we encourage students to sign up for direct deposit.
Go to myKC > Self-Service > Banking information to sign up or confirm your banking information.
Full-time enrollment status will be verified before payments are made in February. Any student who drops below 12 credit hours risks losing this scholarship.
Kish will reimburse students taking classes that start in March, but they still need to be registered for those classes as a full-time student by the January 18th deadline.
This scholarship is available for everyone, as long as they are registered in 12 or more credit hours by the deadline.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Kish will be offering as many classes online as possible for the protection and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community. Some select classes will take place in a hybrid format, which has a face-to-face component.
Yes! Please check our Financial Aid and Scholarships pages for more details.
No. If you qualified for scholarships through the Kishwaukee College Foundation or received financial aid, you will still receive that funding in full. The Spring 2021 Relief Scholarship will be awarded in addition to any other financial support you are receiving if you qualify as a full-time student.
