Dual Credit for High School Students & Families

What is Dual Credit?

Dual credit is an opportunity for high school students to enroll in college courses during their junior and senior year of high school. The credits earned are applied to both high school graduation requirements and a college degree or certificate at Kishwaukee College.

Why dual credit at Kish?

  • Save Money — Kish collaborates with local high schools to offer college courses to high school students at a fraction of the cost.
  • High School & College Credit — Earn high school and college credit at the same time.
  • Prepare for College — Experience college course rigor and expectations while in high school.
  • Save Time — Taking college classes in high school means having fewer courses to complete in college.
  • Scholarship Opportunities — Kishwaukee College offers an abundance of scholarship options, including the KC Dual Credit scholarship for dual credit students.
