Education
Educators have an important role in society — they support the social, emotional and intellectual development of students. Anyone interested in transferring to complete a bachelor’s program in pre-early childhood studies, elementary education or secondary education can begin here. With careful planning, courses at Kish can fulfill certain Illinois teacher certification requirements. In addition, students can choose electives that meet some of the education foundation coursework required in most teacher education programs.
In our education program, you may:
- Pursue an Associate in Arts degree with an emphasis in education prior to transfer
- Prepare for a 4-year degree in early, elementary or secondary education
- Earn elective credits towards your specialization for middle and high school
