The Applied Technologies program pathway focuses on practical, hands-on learning.
The programs at Kish prepare students for fast-growing fields in need of qualified
technicians. Work with state-of-the-art tools and equipment to learn how to design,
build and repair what your community needs.
Andy Sullivan, DeKalb County Sheriff, was awarded the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Kishwaukee College Foundation. The award honors established alumni who have demonstrated service or outstanding contributions within the Kish community.
Kishwaukee College Horticulture students learned about that tatami floral design technique during a hands-on demonstration provided by guest instructor William (Bill) McKinley. The demonstration was part of the Artist in Residence (AIR) program offered by the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD).
