COVID-19 Testing

The College has partnered with SHIELD Illinois and CLEARED4 to implement the Governor’s Executive Order that requires a COVID-19 vaccine OR weekly testing for faculty, staff and students on college campuses.

Starting Monday, November 1, campus access will be restricted to those who are compliant with the COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing mandate. This is the first day faculty, staff, and students must have the green access pass in CLEARED4 to enter Kish facilities.

To help facilitate a smooth implementation, the following step-by-step instructions are available. Please select the one that best fits your status and read carefully:


Kish Shield Testing

  • Location:
    A1345 — Enter Door 19 off of Parking Lot A
  • Hours:
    Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-6:30 pm
    Friday 7:30 am-2:00 pm
    Appointments are not required, but highly encouraged

Visitors

Starting Monday, November 1, visitors will be asked to sign in at the door by the entry checkers. They will need to provide their name, phone number and reason for visiting. Students and employees may not use this entry option. This can be done at any of the authorized entrances.

  • Examples of visitors: Prospective students seeking admissions help, community members attending a meeting on campus, community members testing at the Assessment Center, prospective employees interviewing, guests meeting in the Student Center, etc.
  • Attendees at entertainment and athletic events are considered visitors and will be required to sign in and out of the building.
