Kishwaukee College 2023 Spring Plant Sale to offer online, in-person shopping

The Kishwaukee College Horticulture Program will host its annual Spring Plant Sale as a hybrid event with online and in-person shopping. Plants can be preordered online from Saturday, May 6, through Tuesday, May 9. Online order pickup and in-person shopping will be from 8 am-1 pm Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May 12, at the Kishwaukee College greenhouse facilities.

All plants are grown by horticulture students and faculty on Kish’s campus. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, potting soil and more are for sale. Horticulture staff and students will be available during the event to assist patrons and answer gardening and planting questions.

All online orders must be picked up and paid for during the in-person shopping hours on May 11-12. Payment can be made via cash, check (payable to Kishwaukee College) or credit card.
