Kish College Foundation receives 3M grant for Nursing Textbook Initiative
The Kishwaukee College Foundation received a $5,000 grant from the 3M Site Hometown Donation program in support of the Foundation’s Nursing Textbook Initiative.

Peter Rood, the father of former Kish graduate Mathew Rood, established the scholarship in memory of his son to benefit Kish Diesel Power Technology students. Patino was the first recipient of the scholarship and is currently working to complete the DPT program. He is an active service member in the United States Army Reserves and is pursuing his education in diesel power technology to help advance both his military and civilian careers.
