Kishwaukee College Testing Services has been recertified by the National College Testing
Association (NCTA) — a leading organization in establishing standards and guidelines
for testing centers and personnel.
Kishwaukee College Testing Services provides a variety of secure and professional
exams for Kish students and community members. To be recertified, the College had
to meet rigorous criteria based on the NCTA Professional Standards and Guidelines,
which were developed to advise post-secondary test centers in the delivery of quality
testing programs. Kish’s recertification will be in place for five years and can be
renewed by maintaining the strong standards currently in place.
“Congratulations are extended to Caprice Butts and the entire staff at Kishwaukee
College Testing Services for maintaining high test administration standards and for
providing excellent service to a wide variety of students and community members in
the performance of their duties,” NCTA stated in a press release.
At Kish, students can utilize exams for college placement, high school equivalency,
professional licensures, proficiency evaluations and more. Kish Testing Services is
also certified through GED Testing Service® and the Consortium of College Testing
Centers.
"We worked hard to meet the rigorous recertification benchmarks so the Testing Center
can continue to serve our students at Kishwaukee College with the best service and
standards,” said Caprice Butts, Coordinator of Testing Services.
The NCTA, a non-profit organization, has a membership of more than 2,200 testing professionals
from 650 colleges and universities as well as 50 test companies and organizations.
NCTA’s mission is to enhance professional testing while offering opportunities and
support for professional development and activities.
