Please email your student of any class cancellations and then call 815-825-9700 or email officeofinstruction@kish.edu to notify us of the absence so we can post those on campus courses.
Adjunct instructors need to fill out the Adjunct leave request form. This form needs to be turned into the Office of Instruction to get Dean’s signature and process with Human Resources.
An incident report is to document all workplace injuries and accidents. An incident report should be completed at the time an incident occurs, no matter how minor the injury is.
Adjunct Faculty Expectations
This process is to verify that students are actively pursuing a class. Instructions and reminders will be sent out prior to the deadline.
The purpose for verifying attendance is to ensure that students receive the amount of financial aid for which they are eligible. Accurately reporting during the required period will help ensure the that students receive the correct financial aid. Instructions and reminders will be sent out prior to the deadline.
Submit final grades through Kishwaukee College Self-Service no later than 24 hours after the last day of final exam week. A copy of your grade backup per course must be emailed to your division Administrative Specialist at that time.
Forms must be completed and on file with the division office the Wednesday before grades are due. The Incomplete Grade Contract can be found in myKish under the Faculty-Instructor Links and Resources card. Student’s signature on form or email stating student is agreeing to incomplete must be included to process. After grades have been verified in the system, if you need to process a change of grade visit myKish and select “Request Grade Changes” under the Faculty-Instructor Links and Resources card. An updated grade backup will need to be submitted to your Office of Instruction administrative specialist.
All syllabi must be completed using Concourse Syllabus Management
