Enhance your professional skills through free Workplace Readiness Training. Kishwaukee College is offering Workplace Readiness Training to local businesses, allowing employees to refresh their professional skills and earn a micro-credential. The free training is available through the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) Non-Credit Workforce Training Grant.
The City of Rochelle wanted to prepare its employees to step into leadership roles following future retirements. They contacted Kish for training, and we created an innovative leadership development program, Rochelle U. We brought instructors on-site, and their employees took one class per semester after the workday. The best part? Rochelle employees who participate in the program earn college credit and can easily continue their studies at Kish to complete an associate degree.

Matt Duffy, Executive Director of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, was awarded the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award at the Kishwaukee College Foundation Annual Gala on Saturday, Nov. 2. The award honors established alumni who have demonstrated service or outstanding contributions within the Kish community.
