Kishwaukee College Mass Notification System
Kishwaukee College uses RAVE Mobile Safety to send emergency alerts and important notifications to students and employees.
You will receive alerts for:
- Emergency situations on campus
- Weather-related closures or delays
- Safety notifications and urgent updates
RAVE alerts are free for students, and you are automatically enrolled using your Kishwaukee College email and phone number on file.
Manage Your Alert Preferences
Follow these steps to log in to RAVE and manage your mobile contact information.
- Go to www.getrave.com/login, search for Kishwaukee College and select Continue
- Log in using your Kishwaukee College email and password
- Accept the Terms of Use (first-time login only)
- Go to the My Account tab and find the Mobile Phones section
- Select Add to enter a new phone number
- Enter your 10-digit number (no symbols) and choose Mobile 2 or Mobile
- Confirm your mobile carrier and select Continue
- Review your information and select Done
- Confirm your number appears and use Test, Edit or Delete as needed
Follow these steps to update or confirm your phone number in myKish.
- Log in to myKish
- Select Employee Home or Student Home from your Self-Service card
- Open the User Options menu and select User Profile
- Scroll to the Phone Numbers section
- To add a phone number
- Select Add New Phone
- Enter your number and choose Cell Phone
- Select Add Phone
- To edit or remove a number
- Select the pencil icon next to your number
- Update or delete as needed
- To add a phone number
Reply with "STOP" to one of the recent mass text messages you receive.
Or text the word "STOP" to one of the Rave short codes: 226787, 67283, 78015 or 81437.
Texting "STOP" to any of these short codes (or in response to an alert message that was received) will cancel future alert messages from all four short codes.
Vice versa, texting the word "START" to any of these shortcodes will resume/reinstate the alert messages from all four codes.
